WOMEN'S PELVIC HEALTH PHYSIOTHERAPY

Did you know?

Did you know that many women might face some common health issues during their lives? Here's the lowdown in a more relaxed way:

  1. Believe it or not, about one in three women might deal with urinary incontinence at some point.

  2. For mums out there, up to half of you might experience pelvic organ or vaginal prolapse.

  3. But even if you haven't had a pregnancy, around 60% might encounter issues like bladder trouble, bowel woes, or pain.

  4. Oh, and chronic pelvic pain? Well, that could affect roughly 20% of women aged 18 to 50.

  5. Eventually, every woman goes through menopause.

Now, here's the thing: Many women go through these things thinking it's just what happens. They might not seek help because they're embarrassed or don't know there are good treatments out there.

But guess what? You don't have to go through it alone! Working with a physiotherapist and sticking to your treatment plan can work wonders. In fact, for more than 70% of women, pelvic floor muscle physiotherapy can improve or even completely fix the issues. So, don't be shy about taking care of yourself!
